The ArtixScan 4000tf is Microtek's flagship 35mm film scanner. With up to 4, 000 dpi optical resolution, this scanner allows enlargement of 35mm film to full A3 size with pre-press quality output.

An advanced 42-bit CCD delivers a maximum density of 4. 3D, allowing it to easily capture the levels of highlight and shadow detail and colour accuracy demanded by the most discriminating imaging professionals.

USB is included but it is the FireWire interface that allows this scanner to run twice as fast as it's SCSI based predecessor. A full 4000dpi scan, including image corrections can now be completed in just seventy five seconds.
