The AXAGON PCEM2-XS internal adapter enables the connection of an NVMe M. 2 SSD drive to a desktop computer using the PCI-Express bus.  Very high-quality workmanship, compact dimensions, attractive design and well-thought-out cooling make the adapter an ideal choice for upgrading a desktop computer that is not equipped with an M. 2 slot.
The adapter supports the use of single-sided and double-sided NVMe (PCI-Express) M. 2 SSD drives.  The controller is not limited by the capacity of SSD disks and M. 2 cards up to 22x80 mm in size can be used.
Maximum transfer speeds can be achieved thanks to the PCI-Express interface.  The LED indication signals connection or data transfer in the M. 2 slot.  
The adapter is equipped with a ribbed aluminum disc cover that serves as a passive heatsink.  Thanks to the large cooling surface and supplied thermal pads, the cooler dissipates heat from both sides of the M. 2 disk and thus achieves maximum cooling efficiency.  It is thus also ideal for demanding PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD drives.
