DescriptionThe CyberPower PDU44005 provides output from a UPS, generator or mains power to multiple connected devices in IT environments. Two power cords can be connected to separate power sources to provide redundancy to connected devices with a single cord. If the parameters of the selected power source exceed the defined parameters or it fails, the ATS PDU will automatically switch to another power source within 10 ms (Source failure detection time: 2-3 ms. Power source transfer time: 2-7 ms) to ensure continuous operation. The unit supports remote individual control over the network, allowing administrators to switch connected devices on/off from any location. The product is equipped with a hot-swappable Ethernet module that can interface with PowerPanel Power Management Software and Power Management Web Interface for real-time remote monitoring and configuration. The digital LCD display is also colour configurable, allowing users to easily maintain and monitor the ATS PDU power strip. Users can change the colours of the LCD display to easily categorise devices between multiple machines in server room and IT environments. Event logging via a web browser or network connection allows users to view a history of power conditions. When specific power events occur, automatic event notifications will be sent via email, SMS or SNMP trap to designated users for immediate action. The USB port also supports easy firmware updates. Furthermore, the RJ45 port described allows the connection of an optional environmental sensor (ENVIROSENSOR), which can provide real-time temperature and humidity monitoring in the IT centre.
