The switch is equipped with a total of 28 ports, including 24 PoE+ (Fast Ethernet) and 2 Uplink (Combo Gigabit) ports. Thoughtful design and attention to component quality provides the user with up to 250 W of total real power for end devices, which means the ability to connect simultaneously:
- 16 IEEE 802.3af devices (max. 15 W per port) or 8 IEEE 802.3at devices (max. 30 W per port).

The remaining 2 ports (Uplink) are dedicated to exchange data traffic between the 24 PoE+ ports and external devices. In the case of monitoring/control systems, this is particularly useful, as it allows the user to rip the recording from the cameras to the DVR while sharing the stream further (on the second port), e. g. in the local network or on the Internet.
