NWA1100 has a 4-in-1 design featuring Access Point, Repeater, Bridge and WiFi Client operating modes to provide superior flexibility for WLAN network deployments. For example, the WDS bridging functions can be used to connect and bring several remote sites together. With multiple operating modes, NWA1100 is an ideal solution for a wide range of applications in vertical markets.

Flexible Deployment with PoE
By eliminating the needs of AC power adapters, the Power over Ethernet support of NWA1100 makes it easier than ever for users to overcome installation difficulties. ZyXEL's PoE switch models or other 802.3af standard-based PoE devices can transmit power and data to the Access Point simultaneously through CAT-5 Ethernet cables for flexible installation options at hard-to-wire locations.

Suburb Coverage for Large-Scale Deployments
Business could take advantage of the freedom of high-speed networking without wires with this Wi-Fi certified ZyXEL NWD1100 11b/g PoE Access Point.   The Access Point is also featuring high power 2.4GHz, 802.11b/g RF capability.   With high performance radio, Wi-Fi coverage could be expanded and so less Access Points are required.

Network administrators can manage all the setting via Telnet or the comprehensive Web-based configuration utility; for advanced network management, SNMPv3 is also supported to configure multiple access points from a single location.
